CASA NIKE WOMAN MEXICO

Casa Nike Woman Mexico is situated within a historic building in the "Colonia Juárez" neighborhood of Mexico City. Spanning five stories, it functions as a haven for women athletes and sports enthusiasts, offering various areas for leisure and relaxation. Within the premises, there are designated spaces for exercise, event hosting, a Nike showroom, and a customization station featuring exclusive and special edition pieces. I had the privilege of collaborating with the Store Planning 360 team, a retail architectural firm based in Mexico City, on the interior and furniture design for the meeting room.

This multifunctional space seamlessly transitions between a living area and a venue for presentations and discussions. Despite limited storage space, the need arose for seating for over 40 individuals during events. To address this challenge, I designed benches and chairs that could be stacked and utilized as shelves, coffee tables, and living room furniture when events were not being held. When events required additional seating, the modular furniture can be disassembled and rearranged accordingly. Crafted with a metal frame and rattan covering, the furniture incorporates traditional Mexican craftsmanship, enhancing the room's design.
